I would say Santorini but the gyms a very close second. My colleagues often describe me as large ?, then I think they would describe me as a joker and kind. Knowing the story is important if even for just the power of being able to offer the right words of comfort, which is all that healthcare is sometimes. Every patient has a story which is an essential part of understanding the diagnosis and in recommending treatment. The other part of the relationship that I love is hearing the patient’s story. From balancing between the art of managing human emotion and the skill of applying scientific knowledge to the lessons I learned from my patients and able to apply to my own life, being a Physiotherapist is both fulfilling and humbling. This relationship has many different facets that I thoroughly enjoy. The favourite thing about my job is empowering people to help themselves by giving them the education, reassurance and information they need to manage musculoskeletal conditionsĪs a seven-year practicing Physiotherapist, the patient-clinician relationship has always been the most important and rewarding part of my job.
